Military Appreciation at the Museum

Fairbanks- In local Military news, service members and their families can learn more about Alaskan history and culture, thanks to a partnership between Wells Fargo and the UA Museum of the North. As part of the military appreciation program, admission charges will be waived through 2014, for all active duty military, and four members of their immediate family. Currently, the museum is hosting an exhibit on the first successful climb of Mt. McKinley and organizers say people of all ages will find something interesting.  Military members must show their current ID at the admission desk before entering.
