Midwest team gets win at NAHL Top Prospects tourney

TROY, MICH-Today was the final day of the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament and the Midwest team came away with a W.

Kyle Lee of the Ice Dogs had two assists in the Midwest team's 4-1 win over the North squad. Monday they lost 4-1 to Central who ended going 2-0 in the two day tournament.

The North scored 17 seconds into the second period for a 1-0 lead but the Midwest scored four unanswered including three in the third. Ice Dog defenseman Nick Hinz also scored.

The five Ice Dogs players and head coach Trevor Stewart come back for their home series against Kenai this weekend.
