Family members and friends of a 34–year old Fairbanks woman, missing since early October, are still offering a monetary reward for information about her whereabouts, and hopefully her safe return.
Mary Anne Alexie traveled to Anchorage to attend Alaska Career College on October 9th and called about noon that day to confirm she had arrived.
She reportedly never made contact with the school, and friends last heard from her around 3 a.m. October 10th.
She called, sounding confused, and said she was in the Spenard neighborhood and did not know where to go.
Alexie hasn't been heard from since that time.
A Facebook group, dubbed "Project Angel Eyes, has been set up.
Members of the group say they're devoted to her return, and have offered a TWO THOUSAND DOLLAR reward for information that leads to that cause.
Friends and family held a vigil for Alexie on Nov. 13 in Anchorage, on her 34th birthday.
Alexie is 4–feet 11–inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone having information into the whereabouts of Alexie are asked to contact the Anchorage Police Department at 786–8900.
