A Fairbanks man charged with attacking a State Trooper with a knife has been arraigned today in Fairbanks Superior Court.
Ronald Baker, Jr. was arrested after police were called to the College Inn for a report of an intoxicated man holding a knife and a cordless drill.
In court today, Baker asked the judge if it was illegal to file false charges, saying that everything in the report was a lie.
When asked to confirm his name was correct in the charging documents, Baker responded that it wasn’t because he wanted to change his name.
Trial is scheduled for January.
