A man who said he intended to sell heroin to pay back money he owed his grandmother is facing robbery and drug charges.
Jason O'Bryan faces a six–count indictment, along with co–defendant James Cook.
Alaska State Troopers say a woman told police O'Bryan robbed her of $500 in the Red Fox parking lot on January 30th.
Troopers interviewing Cook learned that he drove O'Bryan to the parking lot. He said he briefly left the vehicle, and when he returned, O'Bryan ran toward him, told him he had just committed a robbery and urged him to drive away quickly.
When interviewed by Troopers, O'Bryan said he went to the parking lot to get some heroin he was going to sell to pay back money he owed his grandmother.
