FAIRBANKS-Today at the EF Horton Rifle Range on UAF's campus was the final day of the high school rifle Region VI championships.

Amy Gentry and Emma Daniels earned the third and second place spots with scores of 549 and 550. But Lathrop's Liam Eberhart, the sophomore won the individual smallbore title with a 552.
What makes this so challenging for the shooters is that a lot of them are also shooting for the Junior Olympics which is happening this weekend at the EF Horton Rifle Range as well. That concludes on Sunday.
