Last sports weekend in June features a number of runs

FAIRBANKS-A pretty busy next couple of days for Interior sports in the last weekend of June.

Tomorrow morning, early in the morning, is the start of the Sluice Box 100. It starts at 7 a.m. at the Mushers Hall on Farmers Loop Road.

Up at the UAF Patty Center at 10 a.m. is the Spruce Tree Classic. That's a 7.2 mile run.

If you into a fun 5K how about the Run from the Cops Run? That's at 11 a.m. on Cushman Street by the Police Headquarters.

The Goldpanners will be in Growden Memorial Park all weekend. They start up ABL play again hosting the Anchorage Bucs Saturday at 7 p.m. Sunday it's a double header against the Bucs at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Also the Sluice Box 100 cutoff or finish is at the FE Gold Camp in Chatanika at 7 p.m.
