FAIRBANKS, AK-Ok I know you may be basketballed out after a great year for Interior basketball both up on the hill and in high school. Now it's getting close for the spring sports to kick off. But here a few things to look out for interior spring sports.

Starting out this week, the West Valley Wolfpack Soccer team. Head coach Howard Maxwell and his six time MAC conference champions will be in the Dome in Anchorage playing Wasilla and Colony on Thursday and Friday for their first contests of the season.

The Hutchison Hawks had their first day of tryouts for soccer today as well.

In April track season will get underway in region six with the Big C Relays in the Dome on April 5th. That's the first track event of the season for most area teams. The Lathrop Malemute boys won the MAC last year. The Delta Junction Huskies, Eielson Ravens, Monroe Rams and Hutchison Hawks will also be in the Big C Relays.

Area baseball teams have been having their tryouts and practices inside unfortunately because of the weather. Lathrop had a strong finish winning 8 of their last 9 nine games and placed fourth in the state tournament last season.
