Interior players make all-state, Henert to coach All-Star game

FAIRBANKS-Lathrop's senior running back Chris Seminario was selected to the large schools all state first team as a running back and return specialist Lathrop offensive coordinator Luke Balash was named large schools all-state coach of the year for the Malemutes.

On the second team offense West Valley quarterback Charles Sudduth. At receiver West Valley's D'vnn Cooks and Lathrop's Derrick O'Neal
Terrell Ford of the Malemutes was a second teamer at the tight end position. On the offensive line Rhoddie West of West Valley at center, Zachary Wall at tackle and Lathrop's Logan Dile at guard.

Joining Lathrop's Marcus Brown and Nathan Barnette on second team defense is senior defensive lineman Jeremiah Webb. West Valley's Jacob Vinton and Trusty Sigmon were also second team large schools all-state defense selections.

North Pole head coach Richard Henert who led the Patriots to a 8-2 season a semifinal berth in their first season at the medium schools level will be the head coach of the Small-Medium North team in the Al Aska Shriner's 37th annual North-South All-Star game.

The all-star games which include the large schools and girls flag football will be this Saturday at the Dome in Anchorage starting at 10 am.
