Interior athletes continue to get gold on day two of state track meet

ANCHORAGE-Down in Anchorage at Dimond High School for the ASAA First National Bank State and Track and Field Championships Interior athletes continue to reach the top of the podium.

These results are unofficial but coming from the ASAA. West Valley's Charles Sudduth won the 100 meter dash today. Lathrop's Tyreke Jennis captured gold in the long jump. The West Valley boys won the 4x100 and 4x200 relays as well.

Eielson's Tony Griffith won the 1-3A 100 and 200 meter dash races. That's back to back 100M golds for Griffith. The Ravens also won the boys 4x100 relay.

Yesterday in 1-3A Hutchison's Lina Heinrichs won the girls high jump event clearing 4 feet 10 inches which is a season best for her.

Galena's Kaleb Korta won the boys 3200 meter race in 9:44.5 and Monroe's Lucas Button tied for second in the boys high jump event after clearing 5 feet 8 inches.
