Iditarod starting to come to a close

FAIRBANKS, Ak-The 2013 Iditarod is almost over and the top 5 is getting more interesting as the Nome finish line is within reach. The front runners are at the White Mountain checkpoint leaving one last checkpoint-Safety before the Nome finish.
 
Mitch Seavey the 2004 champion and father of last year's Iditarod winner Dallas Seavey is leading the pack right now. Dallas is in fourth.

Aily Zirkle is hanging around in second place-13 minutes behind. Jeff King, the four time champ is in third and Ray Redington Jr completes the top 5.
 
Other notables include the leading rookie Joar Ulsom in sixth, Ken Anderson is 12th, Brent Sass at 14th, Martin Buser is 17th, and Lance Mackey who reached the halfway point first is 20th.

Jason Mackey is the latest among the nine scratched mushers.
