Ice Dogs swept by Brown Bears

SOLDOTNA, AK-The Ice Dogs reign at the top of the West division was shorter than leprechauns.
Fairbanks was riding a nine game winning streak but were upended in a 5-4 shootout loss on Friday night to Kenai. Saturday was a chance to bounce back.

Kenai's Zac Lazzaro wasn't having it. Lazzaro hat trick was the difference in a 5-2 win for the Brown Bears Saturday night. Special teams was key as well with Kenai killing four penalties and scoring on two out of seven power play chances.

Jayson Angus led the Ice Dogs with a goal and assist.

The Ice Dogs are two points behind Wenatchee with two games left in the regular season. Those last games are against Kenai at the Big Dipper.
