Ice Dogs get swept in Washington

WENATCHEE, WASH.-The Ice Dogs werent' as successful over the weekend losing two one goal games to the Wenatchee Wild. The Wild won 3-2 on Friday and followed up with a 2-1 win no Saturday. Silver lining is that the Ice Dogs will be back home this weekend for three straight weekends. The first two series are against the top two division teams.

The Ice Dogs are now third in the Midwest division. The Minnesota Wildnerness are the new division leader after Kenai was swept by the Austin Bruins.

Fairbanks will face in-state rival Kenai this Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Big Dipper. The Ice Dogs lead the ERA Cup series 2-0.
