Ice Dogs end 2013 with a loss

FAIRBANKS-On New Year's Eve the Ice Dogs were in Austin Minnesota taking on the Bruins. But their last game of 2013 ended with one goal loss to the Bruins 4-3.

The Ice Dogs rallied from a 0-2 deficit after the first period and made it a 2-3 game with a Colton Wolter goal three and half mintues into the final period. But the Bruins got the game winner from Luke Dietsch off a Jay Dickman assist. Dickman led all skaters with three points.

Fairbanks has played four games in five days. The Ice Dogs (23-10, Midwest Div. leader) stay on the road going at Wenatchee for this weekend's series.
