Ice Dogs' Doug Rose commits to Sacred Heart

FAIRBANKS, Ak-The Ice Dogs continue to put feathers in their caps as quality program that produces quality players for colleges.

Doug Rose the Ice Dogs defenseman from Sewell, New Jersey has committed to play Division 1 college hockey in the Atlantic Hockey Association for Sacred Heart University.
The Sacred Heart Pioneers are currently the only Division 1 team without a win. So the 19 year old Rose will be a Pioneer in more ways in one in trying to make Sacred Heart winners again.

Rose who is tied for fifth in points and sixth in scoring for the Ice Dogs chose Sacred Heart because Fairfield, Connecticut is close to his hometown of Sewell. That brings the Ice Dogs D-1 commits to six this season.
