Ice Dogs could finish with top NAHL regualr season record

FAIRBANKS-The Ice Dogs start their three week six game road trip this weekend. They go up against the Coulee Region Chill in Onalaska, Wis. in the Omni Center.

The Chill are 29-19, third in the Midwest and seven points behind the Minnesota Wilderness. They've won five of their last six including a sweep of the Wilderness.

The Ice Dogs have won five of their last six as well and clinched a playoff spot after their 7-1 romp over Kenai River last Saturday.

Fairbanks boasts the top record in the league (38-13) but some teams have games in hand so the Ice Dogs are now motivated to finish with the best regular season record in the NAHL.

The Amarillo Bulls are three points behind the Ice Dogs for the best record.
