Hikers missing since Saturday found.

On November 9th, two hikers went to spend the night at a cabin in the Hatcher Pass recreation area near Palmer, and were reported missing Sunday night.
State Troopers sent a helicopter in to search the nine mile stretch between the trailhead and the cabin, but four feet of new snow had fallen, and they weren't located sunday.
Today, Monday, the search continued, and the hikers were found three miles from the trailhead, in five to six feet of new snow.
The helicopter landed a quarter mile from the hikers, and troopers broke trail to get to them.
They were airlifted to Mat-SU Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Troopers say both hikers are in stable condition and have been reunited with their family and friends.
