Gymnastics and Ice Dogs highlight this weekend's sports

FAIRBANKS-Even if some of the fields aren't ready there's a spring sport happening this weekend inside. There will be a high school gymnastics dual-meet at 4 pm tomorrow at Gymnastics Inc., on Lathrop Street.

The last Interior gymnastics competition was in 2012. Hutchison, Lathrop, North Pole and West Valley will compete this year.

Also tomorrow at 11 am will be the mini B track meet at North Pole High school with field and track events. For the runners the 34th Annual Tok Trot starts at 1 pm at the Tok Visitors center.
At Pioneer Park at 2 pm will be the start of the 5th Annual Run for Relief.

Saturday evening the Cold'n Heart Junior Derby and Fairbanks Roller Girls will have a double-header against the Raven Rebels starting at 6 pm at the Carlson Center. A portion of the proceeds goes toward the Fairbanks Children's Museum.

Then at 7:30 in the Big Dipper game two of the Midwest Division Finals best of five series between the Wenatchee Wild and Fairbanks Ice Dogs.
