Friday's high school basketball scores

NORTH POLE-Last night North Pole the Houston Hawks came away with some nail biting wins. In the boys game the Patriots lost by just three 43-40 to the Hawks.

The girls game was the game of the night. North Pole's Willow Stewart hit a late three-pointer to send the game into overtime. She finished with 15 points. Teammate Savannah Moisan was also clutch hitting three of her team high 19 points to force double overtime.

Houston got a game high 20 points from K. Quinay and got to the free throw line. The Lady Hawks eeked out a 61-58 win in double overtime over the Patriots (2-10).

Delta swept the Ravens last night as well.

The Huskies were already coming off a sweep of the Galena Hawks and it carried over on Friday night against the Ravens.

John Crabtree led Delta with a game high 20 points in their 74-21 win over Eielson. Joe Simeon scored five to lead Eielson. Delta is now 7-3 overall and 5-0 in the Aurora conference.

In the girls game Jess Reiter of Delta had the stat line of the night with a game high 28 points and 8 rebounds. Amber Mitchell added a nice line with 11 points, five assists and five steals.

Delta defeated Eielson 56-42. Larissa Franklin recorded a double double with 15 points and a game high 14 rebounds for Eielson. The Huskies are 7-3 overall and 3-2 in the Aurora.
