Former Ice Dogs player Larsen transfers to UAF

FAIRBANKS, AK-Some good news for the UAF Hockey team today. Former Ice Dogs player Jared Larsen will be transferring from the University of Minnesota to play for UAF.
Larsen made the Larsen Leap a signature move after a goal in the Big Dipper and Nanook fans could see that at the Carlson Center this winter.

The six foot three forward is transferring from the University of Minnesota where he only appeared in 12 games in two seasons playing behind a number of NHL draft picks. Larsen will pursue a master's degree at UAF and has two years of eligibility. He graduated from Minnesota this spring.

While with the Ice Dogs during 2008-2010 Larsen complied 80 points in 108 games.
