FAIRBANKS- Members of the First Presbyterian Church teamed up with the Fairbanks Community Food Bank to feed families for the holidays. There were more than 100 people lined up at the First Presbyterian Church downtown at 8 in the morning. A convoy of trucks from the food bank delivered seasonal meals including turkey, cranberry sauce, and pie, just in time for thanksgiving. Dozens of volunteers helped unload trucks and one organizer estimates they will give out nearly 2,000 boxes today. Each box contains enough food for a family of four and lasts several days.
