Flight teams go 1-1 on last day of Las Vegas Tournament

LAS VEGAS, NV-The Alaska Flight basketball teams ended the Big Foot Hoops Las Vegas Live Tournament over the weekend. The 17U got a 37-29 win over Texas Frontline. Six players scored at least six points.

In the single elimination gold bracket the Flight lost 64-48 to Dream Vision Utah. Ihro Raguindlin had 16 and 3 steals to lead the Flight who finished 3-2 in the tournament.

The 16U team went 2-3. Monroe's Connor O'Kelley Ault hits a clutch bucket with two seconds left to give the flight a 36-34 win over Cougars Black. Levi Auble of Valdez had 18 points and 6 rebounds in the win.

The Flight 16U would lose 50-38 in the next game to Cougars White. Jalon McCullough had 15 points and four steals in the loss.

Now the Flight will stay in Las Vegas for the Big Foot Hoops Las Vegas Classic Tournament which starts tomorrow and ends this Sunday.
