FFD Finishes Sorting Apartment Rubble

FAIRBANKS- Fairbanks Fire Officials finished sorting the rubble of the apartment complex on Geraghty Avenue and they have confirmed that nobody else was killed in the blaze. Assistant Fire Chief Ernie Misewicz says there will be more interviews in the coming days, and he hopes to know the official cause within two weeks. The Fire on Geraghty Avenue left nearly 50 residents homeless and two dead The building was large, containing 18 apartment units, which created a lengthy search for Firefighters. Misewicz says, the city will begin working with the owners to clean up the remains of the building.
