Fairbanks teen faces new charges in shooting

Additional charges were filed today in Fairbanks District Court against a teen reportedly involved in a shooting.

16-year-old Chester Fields was indicted on the charges that stem from a shooting and robbery at the Wedgewood Manor hotel in February.

Fields was arraigned today in court in front of Judge Bethanny Harbison, with his lawyer Bob Noreen who present as well.

Additional charges included misconduct involving weapons, and minor consuming alcohol, these are in addition to the felony charges of robbery in the first degree as well as the burglary and assault charges he faces already.

Fields is being tried as an adult with his alleged accomplice 21-year-old Isaiah Cross.
