Fairbanks International Airport to receive a new decoration

Fairbanks International Airport will be receiving a new and unique decoration on Monday.
An airplane owned by Carl Ben Eielson will be hung from the airport for visitors to see.
Students and volunteers with the University of Alaska Fairbanks Aviation Department helped to completely restore the plane flown by Eielson.
The 1923 Curtiss JN-4D "Jenny" airplane took nearly 6 years to restore and will be installed in the airport by the Alaska Department of Transportation, the Experimental Aviation Association, and Davis Construction.
