Fairbanks Ice Dogs will start 2014-2015 season on the road

FAIRBANKS-The NAHL schedule for the 2014-2015 season was recently released. The Ice Dogs will be on the road to start the new season.

They open their season Sept 12 for a series with the Kenai River Brown Bears. The NAHL Showcase is Sept 17-20 in Blaine Minnesota. The Ice Dogs will so be in Minnesota for their series against the Minnesota Wilderness on Sept. 26.

The first home series for the defending national champions will be Oct. 3 where the Dogs will host the Bismarck Bobcats from the Central Division.

Fairbanks will visit Wenatchee on Oct. 24 for their first meeting since their five game Midwest division finals series. The Wild are in the playing in the eight team South division this season.

A number of different teams that the Ice Dogs will play next season. The Ice Dogs have series with the Minot Minotauros, Johnstontown Tomahawks and Keystone Ice Miners.

The Top Prospects Showcase in February 16 and 17 in Troy Michigan and the Robertson Cup Championship is slated for May 14 and 15.
