FAIRBANKS- Today, marks the 12 year anniversary of the teorrist attacks that killed nearly three thousand people. Remembrance ceremonies took place across the country, here at home, Firefighters hosted their annual event at Fire Station Number One. They honored all 453 safety personnel who died doing their job; they read each name and placed a flag for each person. Organizers said, the service is a reminder about risks that come with the job and the ultimate importance- serving people. The Captain of the Fairbanks Fire Department says all emergency service members share that special bond.
