End of the first quarter and Monroe leads West Valley 18-6. Rams have shown patience on offense and are getting to the free throw line. West Valley has struggled to score. Getting looks but ball just not dropping.

At the end of the first half Monroe leads 30-21. The Wolfpack are hanging around despite having a bad first half on the offensive end. This is the first single digit lead Monroe has had at halftime all year. If West Valley finds their offense the second hald will be interesting.

The Wolfpack are forcing Monroe to play a halfcourt game but the Rams ball movement and patience is enabling them to hit shots. They're also getting to the free throw line.

The Monroe Rams win the Dimond Prep Shootout championship with a 68-40 win over West Valley.

The Rams outscored the Wolfpack 38-19 to pull away for the victory.

Monroe's David Stepovich and Taylor Wells made the all-tournament team as well as West Valley's Daniel Hornbuckle and Charles Sudduth. Scooter Bynum of the Rams was named the Dimond Prep Shootout MVP.
