Denali National Park authorities investigate string of animal killings

Local Authorities at Denali National Park are investigating a string of animal killings.

The animals killed were purchased from a pet store in Fairbanks and were discovered
by a park employee last week.

The employee reported a charred and partially eaten remain of a rodent, a crushed
mouse, and severed head of a snake.

The employees also found empty Petco boxes as well as a turtle that they
rescued.

Authorities found receipts that tie the Petco purchase to a
Phoenix man; an investigation continues.
