Crash victim identified as David Youdin

 

AN FAIRBANKS MAN HAS DIED IN A VIOLENT TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT NEAR MILE 345– OF THE PARKS HIGHWAY.
 
ACCORDING TO TROOPERS, A SILVER VOLKSWAGEN JETTA Driven by 21 year of David Youdin of Fairbanks WAS TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND, WHEN IT WAS "T–BONED" BY A CARLISLE TRACTOR–TRAILER THAT WAS HAULING A FULL LOAD OF LIQUID METHANE.
 
Youdin, the DRIVER OF THE VOLKSWAGEN DIED AT THE SCENE.
 
THE DRIVER OF THE TRACTOR – 25 year old Michael Looper of Eagle River, DID NOT REPORT ANY INJURIES.
 
TROOPER Keenan MULVANEY SPOKE TO NEWS CENTER 11 LAST EVENING ABOUT THE ACCIDENT, AND ASKED THAT MOTORISTS USE CAUTION WHILE ON THE ROAD WAY.
 
THE PARKS HIGHWAY WAS COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN IN BOTH DIRECTIONS AS TROOPERS CONDUCTED THEIR INVESTIGATION.
