FAIRBANKS- An invesitgation into sexual harassment claims against the University’s student newspaper has ended. According to Chancellor Brian Rogers, an external review has exonerated UAF’s Sun Star from the accusations regarding two published articles. Officials say the articles are protected by free speech. One article was satirical and published in a special edition called the “Fun Star,” the other piece detailed student interactions on a Facebook confession page. In April of 2013 a UAF professor filed two separate complaints that those articles created a hostile work environment.
