Today is the day for State senate political forum, hosted by the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce.
The Forum begins noon and is expected to be one of the largest and most comprehensive forums before November's general election.
The Chamber is expecting a wide turn–out, which is why the event will be held on the main floor of the Carlson Center.
This year's state senate and house races are earning much more attention due to the recent redistricting changes statewide, which is causing some incumbents to run against each other in the general election.
Chamber officials say candidates will have plenty of opportunity to address issues affecting the interior and to answer audience questions.
RSVP for the luncheon need to be made before the event.
If you plan on attending without lunch there is still a 5 dollar listening fee to help toward the cost of the event.
