BREAKING NEWS: The Richardson HWY is now reopened after armed suspect barricaded himself in home

This morning the Richardson HWY between mileposts 320 and 324 was shut down due to Alaska State Troopers persuit of an armed suspect who had barricaded himself in a home.
According to State Troopers Spokeswoman Beth Ipsen, "It is strictly a barricaded subject. No one else was immediately in danger."
All traffic was stopped including a bus route that was suspeneded until this was resolved.
At 7am the suspect was taken into custody and the HWY reopened nearly 10 minutes later.
However, prior to being taken into custody, the home he had used to barricade himself into was set on fire and is now fully engulfed in flames.
