Bentley Mall Crasher in Court

Not Guilty pleas for the 18–year–old man who tried to drive his Ford pickup truck into the Bentley Mall earlier this month.
Fairbanks Police say Joseph Wilson registered a breath–alcohol content of zero and told police he had not been drinking, taking prescription medications or inhalants.
Wilson was arraigned in Fairbanks Superior Court on Tuesday afternoon, charged with two counts of felony assault, criminal mischief and driving under the influence.
A criminal complaint says Wilson told police he had smoked marijuana before he got to the mall but had not taken the dried mushrooms that were in his vehicle.
Officers described him as heavily intoxicated following the much–publicized crash that heavily damaged the mall entrance.
He remains housed at the Fairbanks State Jail on 10–thousand dollars bail.
