Army Investigators seek more witnesses in murder of 3-year-old on post

Charges have been filed against a 23-year-old Fort Wainwright Sergeant accused of murdering his 3-year-old son.

According to U.S. Army Officials, Sgt. Nathaniel Ulroan has been charged with premeditated murder, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and a host of other charges in connection with what the Army has called an "incident" in on post housing April 4th.

The child was reportedly found dead in the morning hours by Fort Wainwright Military Police, who later took Ulroan into custody after questioning done by the Criminal Investigations Division.

Ulroan is now being held at Fairbanks Correctional Center awaiting an Article 32, in which the evidence will be presented and officials will decide on a Court Marshall.

Today Military Police and the Criminal Investigations Division asked that anyone who was inside the Shoppette and Gas Station on Fort Wainwright during the hours of 9pm to 10pm April 3rd  phone them at 353-7710.
