The University of Alaska Fairbanks is gearing up to host its annual Arctic Innovations competition.
The contest was created by the School of Management up at UAF to reward creative ideas.
With a grand prize of ten thousand dollars, over the years, numerous creative inventions have given students and other participants an opportunity to contribute their ideas to not only the local community, but also the rest of the nation.
The contest does not require any entry fee or business plan and is open to individuals or teams of all ages.
There is also a competition for Juniors 17 and under.
The submission deadline is this Friday, and the final competition will be on October 19th.
