Anchorage man killed in accident identified

Fairbanks Police Department has identified the man killed in a single-car accident that occurred late Saturday evening as 47-year -old Anchorage Resident Troy Robins.
The accident happened near mile 360 Northbound on the Richardson highway around 11PM; Robins reportedly lost control of his truck on the icy road and turned the vehicle on its side.
Robins was not wearing his seatbelt and his head became lodged under the truck.
Police were on scene a few yards up as another vehicle had lost control and witnessed the accident; they were able to break out the window of the truck immediately to check for pulse and were ultimately unable to find one.
The next of kin of the have been notified.
