2 cups marinara sauce (sold at Gambardella’s)
2 cups ricotta
½ and onion caramelized
¼ cup parsley chopped
½ cup Romano cheese
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
½ a cup of mozzarella cheese
Pasta sheets: can be homemade, frozen or use manicotti tubes or lasagna sheets.
Preheat oven to 350.
Stir all ingredients together and fill with pasta tubes or roll the pasta sheets.
In the bottom of the baking dish, add about a cup of marinara.
Put manicotti on top of sauce.
Then top with marinara sauce, especially on the edges.
Add mozzarella, cover with foil and bake until over 150 in the center.
