Alaska Flight basketball ends tournament with 500 record

LAS VEGAS, NV-The Alaska Flight basketball team ended their July season of summer basketball if you will with a solid showing in two Las Vegas Tournaments. In the last day of the Big Foot Hoops Las Vegas Classic on Sunday the 17 U split two games.

The first win was on prayer of a shot but Ihro Raguindin banked in a deep three for a 44-43 win over the Rivals out of Massachusetts. Raguindin finished with 10 points and five rebounds. Tyler Wells had 12 points.

No miracle shot in the last game as the Flight lost by one point 47-48 to the Golf Coast Blue Chips from Texas. Theo Oghide, from West High School, had 13 points and 12 boards to lead the Flight and Lathrop's Kyle Carlson chipped in 12 points.

The 16 U team went 1-6 and the 17 U finished 3-3 in the Big Foot Hoops Las Vegas Classic.
