Alaska Airlines has changed its check in policy for flights.
The minimum check in for domestic flights has been changed from 30 minutes prior to 40 minutes prior to takeoff.
They say this change is for all passengers regardless of if they are checking luggage or not.
The Airline said in a release that although the boarding policy does remain the same, the check in time was revised to avoid confusion.
The new policy will make the check in time the same for everyone which will make it a more simple process for passengers to remember the cutoff time.
