Alaska Air Show Association lands in Fairbanks to prepare for Centennial Celebration

This weekend the Hangar at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Community Technical College got a very special delivery.

Four antique planes landed in preparation for the Centennial Air Show Celebration.

This year holds a very special significance to those in Flight in Alaska. July 4th marks the 100th year in Flight in the state and the Alaska Air Show Association is bringing a show to Fairbanks you won't want to miss.

On Sunday evening four antique planes dating all the way back to the 1930s  arrived in Fairbanks, which is where, on July 4th 1913,  the first flight took off from.

On the 3rd of July the Alaska Air Show Association will also be offering rides for donations on the planes as part of the fun.
