AFN forms advisory panel

The Alaska Federation of Natives will be hosting its annual convention this year in Fairbanks October 24th through the 26th.
This proves to be the largest event for Alaska Natives and the association each year and draws thousands to its doors.
The AFN has formed a new advisory panel in order to further help Native people in the state.
One of the members of the panel is Tanana Chiefs Conference President Jerry Isaac and Kawerak President Melanie Bahnke as well will on the panel; The two will serve as co- chairs.
Other members will consist of various leaders and people from Tribes and Native Non-Profits across the region.
