According to Boston police, two people were killed and 23 people hurt when two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
The blasts went off at the end of the race.
According to NBC news, more than 100 people have been treated for injuries, although no explanation as to the extent of those injuries.
Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis urged people in Boston to “stay indoors and not congregate in large groups.”
Another explosion was also reported at JFK Library, but authorities at this time are not certain if they are linked. This is a developing story.
