Darrell Clark

Darrell is the anchor for the Fairbanks Evening News at 6 p.m. and Newscenter Final at 11 p.m. A life-long Fairbanksan, Darrell attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks and graduated in 1997 with a double major B.A.

Darrell began his television career in 1999 right here at KTVF. Darrell has worn many hats over the years for the news team, from sports director to weekend anchor, from producer to TV sales, from managing news producer to finally, anchor. Darrell left Fairbanks in 2002 for Minneapolis and worked for three years as the production manager for ShopNBC, the 3rd largest cable and web retail company in the nation.

Darrell and his wife, Dionna, moved back to Fairbanks in 2005 for the arrival of their first-born child, Kaiden Allen Glenn Clark. He rejoined KTVF in 2007.

Darrell and Dionna are the proud owners/operators of Glow Putt. Darrell is also an avid karaoke singer and operates his own D.J./Karaoke service.

On March 7, 2010, Darrell and Dionna welcomed their first daughter to the world. Kira Jo Rae Clark now occupies what little sleep time Daddy manages, loudly exclaiming her affection.
