West Fairbanks police standoff ends with suspect arrest

A West Fairbanks standoff with Troopers has ended with the arrest of suspect Kelo Smoke.

Community members came out to "Quinn's Roundup" on Saturday to help with the costs of the young girl's treatment for SMA.

The A-capella group 'Home Free' is in Fairbanks this week, enjoying a third trip to Alaska in three years for the country-focused ensemble.

Fairbanks City Council member, David Pruhs, expressed frustration with an on-going construction project on Turner St., and may take action if the project is not completed soon.
